The Casino Allstars made their debut in Shropshire at the Comrades Club in Ellesmere on Friday night and we loved it, after a two hour drive we arrived at Ellesmere and found this great venue. The stage and lighting were just what the doctor ordered, and after setting up and having our sound check professionally completed by Vernon Antcliff [our sound man] on the night, we were off. We also supplied a Northern Soul disco with Brian Walker, Frank Swindles and my self spinning the tune on the night. Kitch and Frank also doubled up helping the band set up which was appreciated by all. So we completed two sets which went down well with the crowd so we will look to return some time in the future.
