What a day
What a Sunday, I can’t remember being so happy about just one days events in a long time. It all started with The All Blacks winning the Rugby World Cup as I predicted before the competition started. So my thoughts go out to my family in New Zealandwho will be going crazy for the next few days for sure.
Next up was the Manchesterderby between my beloved ManchesterCity, and Manchester United [Brian and Drumbags team]. It was played at United’s Old Trafford [The Theatre of Dreams] which turned out to be a nightmare day for the reds as City blitz them 6-1, their biggest defeat at home for 80yrs or more, enough said.
Then on to the Nursery Inn, where the crowd was superb as they usually are, it was very busy and The Casino Allstars really got into the grove. It’s always good to get back to The Nursery to meet up with Simon and his staff who always make us most welcome.
Fingers crossed for more Sundays like this to come.
