February 2010 Steve Stephenson Warrington Cheshire RE: "Do it to Soul" Cd Hi Paul, Thanks for posting the CD in super quick time! Enjoyed it immensely! Standout track for me? 'Goodbye Cruel Love'. Dare I say it's better than the Linda Griner (I think) original. Sarah's vocals are amazing.
Steve.
Artful Dodger commented on charity event @ the Holdsworth WMC, Reddish, Stockport 24th October 2009: "many thanks PAUL,from the Offerton posse,we all had a good night, thoroughly enjoyed the DJ‘s,and the band.all looking forward to the next one !!!!!"
October 3rd 2009 Denzil Wrexham Memorial Motown & Soul Club Hi Paul I did not have 1 complaint about your gig, everyone who has e mailed me thought you were a top band, someone asked were you singing live!!!!!! They thought the sound was so close to the records I assured them that you were not using backing tapes Most people said they did not recognise some of the songs but enjoyed having a change as most soul bands do the same set Now From Greg at the same event!! Prior to the night Denzil had already told me that the Allstars were something special so I was already looking forward to having a cracking night out. She who must be obeyed is more of a Motown person who likes some Northern so she was not so sure.
On the night itself, there was another soul night running at a village about 6 miles away so the attendance at the Memo was down to about two thirds of it's usual numbers. What a night those people who chose to go elsewhere missed. I was in my element listening to a band who obviously know their Northern Soul, even though some of the tracks were unfamiliar to me, I was blown away to hear northern Soul being belted out so professionally by a live act.
I nearly burst when the band struck "She Blew a Good Thing", sheer classic tune and pure class rendition. At the end of the night the wife had to agree that the Allstars were a fabulous band who had entertained us royally.
Denzil tells me the lads in the band are coming to the Memo as guests in December, I'm sure they will then witness a soul night to remember. Come back again the Casino Allstars, we had a top night with top tunes from a top band

Oddies Review from Rick and Joe, Hi Casino Allstars just have to say what a great night and how good your band is. We both had a fantastic time sat at the back and enjoyed every minute. We are not Scooter people but enjoy their nights at Oddies. They always have a good act on and did not let us down with your band. Hope to see you soon. Rick & Joe

Twisted Wheel Review, from Linda and Michael Brown from Hednesford What a night …. We were treated to the first live band to perform at the Wheel in 38 years The Casino Allstars, and they were soooo worth the 160 mile round trip…fantastic. As for the rest of the night same as the Sunday soul sessions ….BRILLIANT!! This place is amazing and does exactly what it says on the tin, no hint of modern or the likes here 60's soul at it's best!!!! Keep it up Pete Roberts and John Green. Was I right in the fact that the young dancers in there were off the Duffy video Mercy looked like they really enjoyed it like the rest of us, great to see well behaved youngsters enjoying themselves…… Anyway congratulations and thanks to Pete and John and to the Casino Allstars for an excellent night.

Hi Paul, We had a great night, we thought the band was great (it's not often we get the chance to see a band playing true northern soul), we already checked out soul source and your next gig in Stockport and we are trying to combine this with an all - nighter, hope to see you there.
